Public Notice - Opening of Public Comment Period Admin Plan FY 2027

ATTENTION ALL PUBLIC HOUSING RESIDENTS and Resident Association Board (RAB)

Proposed Updates to the Public Housing Admin Plan

The Jacksonville Housing Authority (JHA) is releasing proposed updates to the Public Housing Admin Plan for public comment.

The 45-day public comment period begins May 8, 2026, and ends June 23, 2026, While JHA encourages and welcomes all program participants, residents, and the community-at-large to review the proposed updates to the Public Housing Admin Plan you are not required to view or attend the public comment hearings to submit comments. Your presence or absence at the hearing does not affect your housing.

JHA will host two public comments, one livestream and one in-person:

Livestream: Thursday May 14, 2026, at 12 am, www.jaxha.org

In-person: Tuesday, May 19, 2025, at 3:00pm, Twin Towers, 621 W 44th St, Jacksonville, FL 32208

Public Hearing: June 25, 2026, at Fairway Oaks, 5570 Golf Brook Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32208

We ask that comments pertaining to the Public Housing Admin Pllan be submitted electronically to: info@jaxha.org prior to each comment hearing or submitted to the JHA during the livestream. All comments will be added to the comment grid and receive a response during the livestream and/or in writing in the comment grid.

A summary and the full Proposed Public Housing Admin Plan will be available on JHA's website at www.jaxha.org on May 8, 2026. You may also mail or fax comments for the Proposed Public Housing Admin Plan. All comments must be postmarked and received by June 23,2026 no later than 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.
