Public Notice - Public Notice - Significant Amendment to the Administration Plan
The Jacksonville Housing Authority, pursuant to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements under definition of "Substantial Deviation" and "Significant Amendment or Modification" Final Rule 903.7(r)(2), has amended its 2021- 25 PHA 5-Year Plan. This amendment represents a "Significant Amendment or
Modification" to the Administrative Plan. This amendment to the Administrative Plan incorporates occupancy changes required for the RAD PBV conversion of The Waves, Hogan Creek, and Centennial Towers. The Administrative Plan amendments are available to the public for review online at www.jaxha.org. On the website, click on "About" and then "Plans and Policies." The comment period is February 8, 2021 through March 24, 2021. Any comments concerning the amendment to the Plan must be made in writing and either emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or submitted to the main office at 1300 Broad Street N, Jacksonville, FL 32202, by 2:00 p.m. on March 24, 2021.
In addition, a public hearing will be held on at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021, in the Administrative Office located at 1300 Broad St. N, Jacksonville FL 32202.
COVID-19 precautions are in place. The Public Notice will be updated prior to the Public Hearing with remote access to the meeting.
"If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Jacksonville Housing Authority or any committee thereof with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of these proceedings, and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.:" Florida Statutes 286.0105.
